One thing I find myself doing all too often is picking something up, not knowing where to put it, then putting it somewhere else to get to “later.”

Not only do I get a false sense of accomplishment by feeling like I organized a bit, but future me ends up finding things in the most random places.

i have adapted to this by placing baskets in places i am most likely to pile 

then when i have the urge to hyperfocusclean i just go to all the baskets and empty all the things

This seems way more intentional than just piling onto any random surface available throughout the house. I gotta look into some baskets now!

This is a great idea. I have one basket, but end up with multiple piles of things I intend to put in the basket 🙄

So I need more baskets 😅
