One of the most scarce resources was blunt feedback. So hard to get people that will just tell you like it is.

That's interesting - I've seen a lot of founders comment on how blunt some feedback from VCs could be but maybe they just have the loudest voices since they're complaining.

Did you feel like you were surrounded by "yes people" while building at the beginning?

I also saw a pretty intense debate on ct once about whether people want reasons for a "no" or feedback from VCs - I didn't really understand why you wouldn't want feedback but some folks felt strongly about not receiving it if they didn't ask for it after a pitch...

That's unfortunate to hear! Why do you think ghosting is so commonplace here compared to other industries - potentially because of the grassroots development of the crypto ecosystem from a group of folks mainly living on the fringe?

We'd get a lot of "yes" and positive things, but it wasn't backed by action and often turned into radio silence. I would have loved to get some clear "no" along with any kind of "why" attached to it.

The amount of (professional) ghosting that happens in this space is mindboggling. Never seen it in other industries.
