interesting observation. but why "dangerously low"? 

what upside do you see to shifting this ratio?

when considering ethereum protocol development, the core devs spend little to no energy marketing their work. it's true.

at this point the core protocol is the bazaar and the apps/L2s/infra providers are the cathedrals tasked with marketing. 

all scattered throughout the infinite garden.

Research shows successful technologies have a ratio of 1:1. Failed technologies have very low ratios.
