On my way to wintry Germany today, where I’ll be spending the next four weeks. I’ll be staying with my mom (and do my daily visits to my grandmother), who lives in the most picturesque countryside. This area, renowned for its natural beauty and healing springs, was first settled by the Romans. It’s also famously connected to the Brothers Grimm, who spent their childhood here. Their fairy tales were inspired by the local folklore, as well as the beautiful forests, rivers, and rolling hills that surround this region.

I will do both! My routine there every single day is to walk to my grandmother through the forest (about 2.5 km) and spend few hours with her. Then walk back.
