" Wastewater Treatment " Today, due to climate changes and water problems, especially in arid and semi-arid regions of the world, management of resources and water supply is very important. One of the important aspects of water resources management is the management of urban and industrial wastewater. In order to know what volume of water we are talking about, you should consider a cube with a volume of 1500 cubic kilometers, which is created annually in the world. 80% of this volume of wastewater is released into the environment without treatment! This is despite the fact that up to 90% of its pollution can be removed by biological treatment of wastewater. Knowing this issue increases the importance of the issue for the citizens of the world, that about 70% of the total volume of sewage is created by urban sources. Today, in developed countries like America, treatment plants are used to manage wastewater, for example, in America, treatment plants treat 34 million gallons of water daily. [ 1 ]
