Just use vs code

You’re not using unmodified vim to write code

Once you have plugins, it’s an IDE. Wikipedia definition says if you have things like autocomplete and syntax highlighting, it’s an IDE

I am actually opinionated about my tools. It’s just my opinion is to use vs code 😂😭

I’ve tried nvim, helix, zed, and inteliij fairly extensively over the years but keep coming back to code

Unmodified vim probably doesn’t qualify as “comprehensive facilities” but yes you can mod it to be a 1:1 vs code replica if you want

VS code is fine if you’re not opinionated about your tools
