How are they ruining your feed? Are they constantly suggested? If so — have you tried the "following" feed?

I have a different perspective to be honest but also hear you on your POV. With any new wave of content coming in — I would expect it to settle something feeling more Farcaster native for all after a certain while.

just felt very Twitter esque last few days with the onboarding wave in with a lot of quote casts flying around. I assume this will effect will decrease.

That sounds like a bug if it is showing up on your feed. Feel free to share examples so we fix it.

You also have full control over your mutes — which can alleviate.

I only use following.

But, those I follow interact with it because it's rage-bait so it ends up on my feed.

I understand the strategy of bringing journalist in but they don't understand how to operate without rage-bait.

The lack of current news and absence of Salem Witch Trials is why I like it here.
