why do my DCs after a certain point have nothing in them?? is this related to storage because i bought more like a month or so ago

Nothing to do with storage. We auto-delete conversations by default on Direct Casts. So likely those are year-old or so conversations you are no longer seeing. If you believe there are convos more recent that is not showing up — that would be a bug. Let us know.
