Farcaster

Farcaster could easily have a sustainable token model. Anyone can pay in $CAST to boost their posts. A portion of that goes to users and a portion is burned.

This is a bad take. 

Would increase farming and decrease quality content even further.

What if tokens were given out as some type of long term restricted stock options in Farcaster? Like, tokens with a 5 year vest period or something. To reward creators but also encourage long term building/thinking and discourage slop and farming.

it would create a financial incentive to be on farcaster vs an intrinsic motivation

also it would cause adverse selling pressure. better to have no token than one that performs poorly.

Why would there would be farming? You’re assuming the reward would go to people who post instead of people who view posts

...and, the plebs would wanna enter the senate on any given day, too.
