Board gaming with kids can be a topic in itself! Blokus is good. It's a straightforward spacial game. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2453/blokus Qwirkle is also good. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/25669/qwirkle A cooperative game (like Forbidden Desert) can be good (avoids arguments over being "targeted"). https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/136063/forbidden-desert I used these as entries into board gaming for my kids.
