can anyone explain what this means? what does "transfering your current profile to the new resolver" and "updating your resolver" mean?

Hey @grin The resolver is a contract that helps resolve your ENS name into usable records (addresses, avatar, socials, etc). There's ENS public resolver contracts, however you could also write your own custom one and do interesting things with it. In this case the resolver upgraded for the namewrapper contract + more.

Still learning but I believe… The resolver is an ens deployed contract that is responsible for providing the answer to who is”x.eth” Updating to a newer resolver contract (that manages your ENS name) should be transparent, and may get you ready for newer features.
