Have you checked out Metabase? We used the OSS version on top of Snowflake at my last company and it worked quite well, I'm sure it would do even better with SQL. Free for OSS version, can upgrade to managed version if your analytics needs grow in future.

Used superset which was open sourced at Airbnb. Metabase is okay if you want to get up and running quickly
