I’ve spent at least 1 night in 34 states. Kentucky, Delaware, Indiana I’ve been through. Will knock out the remaining on a road trip when kids are older and then a trip to Alaska at some point.

The West and VT / NH / ME are pretty special from a natural beauty standpoint.

2003 solo, 3 days: (Wilmington, NC -> Chicago -> South Dakota -> Seattle) 

2005 w/ cousin, 10 days: (Syracuse, NY -> Colorado -> Grand Canyon -> San Diego -> Seattle via Pacific Coast Highway) 

2021 w/ wife and 4 kids, 11 days: (Seattle -> zig zag north & south, finally landing in Raleigh, NC)
