Does anyone here write the majority of their code in vim? Are you really faster relying purely on keystrokes than with the mouse + basic shortcuts in a modern IDE?

yes 100% absolutely faster and more ergonomic. i feel utterly miserable when i’m using anything but vim.

How long did it take you to get highly proficient? What’s the best way to learn? Have you tried using the Vim extension within VS Code?
