Cursor is like the nuke of software development. Completely changes the landscape for the worse but it was inevitable so we just gotta deal with the fact that AI infects our codebases with slop now

People used to spend hours and hours manually typesetting, and then word processors came out. Now there are way more people who can typeset but far fewer people who can do it at the level that those initial typesetters did. We can’t fight this wave, we have to adapt.
