How would this work when depositing and withdrawing? Do you want it to just go to any chain? Or somehow predict which chain you'd prefer to withdraw to (based on what funds the destination wallet already holds)?

It would be nice to have an option to choose that is hidden but I think the app has such a huge market for normies as a Venmo alternative. I would never send cash to a normie friend with it because I know I am asking them to understand the “how” too much by forcing them to see all the chains that their funds sit on. I’m saying make the default so plain and simple it is indistinguishable from Venmo but allow the informed user to change settings. If I send cash to my grandma she doesn’t need to know that this is running on top of blockchain rails. It should just work for her.

I don’t think eth cash does show the chain its deposited on, only the one you’re depositing from

Oh ok. I have only looked at the send view and assumed it would be too complicated for grandma. I will give it a full try sometime. I am a big fan of apps that simply use Ethereum for payments. Huge real world use cases.
