It’s cloudy tonight, but I’m currently near Merritt Resovoir, Nebraska this week and it was just named one of the darkest skies on earth. I believe it. Absolutely stunning.

Kokee, Waimea Canyon, Kauai. You could clearly see the edge of the Milky Way! I don’t know what the fringes of space really looks like but I would deduce it’s something like that. ❤️
