I think I read that Trump will give it a 90 day extension and try to avoid banning it. Quick google search confirms this but I'm not sure how accurate it is.

I don't think it's at the account level. I always have to use a VPN to access Tiktok and today I got the message saying you access Tiktok when I tried connecting but I can open it now because I changed my VPN server to Singapore

It’s because all US data is on US based cloud servers because of earlier concessions, and the cloud venders didn’t want to risk fines.
