i’ve wanted to build a version of Jarvis for my home that has access to everything given the state of gpt-4, i think you can build something way better than existing products (echo, google home, etc.)

I have a couple that I use to run a Plex media server and AdGuard to block ads at the DNS level.

I finally found a use for my Pi as a MAME emulator when my parents bought an Arcade1Up cabinet and discovered that it sucked

Volumio is pretty sweet if you want to DIY a hifi system. The 5 might also finally be powerful enough to run a Plex server.

Buy one, put it in a small case, spend a day playing around, never touch it again. Repeat in a few years time when the Raspberry Pi 8 comes out
