The obvious one: other people are on it. As dwr’s pointed out, partly because it’s the only large messenger that doesn’t require a phone number (signal, whastapp) or full social account (fb messenger)

It’s also just a great product tbh. Solid apps on all platforms, nice message reaction options, great bot supp

I don’t mind groups in telegram! Especially smaller ones. I’d say it’s no worse than imessage which seems to be a common north star

Do you feel like the experience is good in groups. I agree with the sentiment in one on one convos. But group convos are a nightmare for me.
