As many ppl who do creative work I like to read biographies of great writers and painters etc hoping to figure out what the secret is . . . and it is work ethics. I wish it was something more romantic. But it is work ethics.

I don’t think I’ve ever met a creative person who thought reading would up them. In the past year what I’ve seen from nft artists are doing real strong commitments to ship often. From @mendez going full beeple to @tiffatronn doing 30+ art challenges. Only way to get better is by doing it. That’s how I got better at photography by doing photography challenges.

At a certain stage, reading and seeing new types of work expands your work but its like building a business at first just go do it don’t do an mba. Maybe later read books to borrow ideas my 2 cents
