Hey hey James For now the storage layer is under IPFS, we'll be replacing it with Arweave + Ceramic soon to handle encryption and token gated content. :))

I have great resources for you! I literally built a demo of a music app that uses IPFS + Ceramic about a month ago https://wide-denmark-loud.on-fleek.app/ The code is here https://github.com/nucypher/taco-lighthouse-demo The interesting thing for you is that it uses TACo (https://docs.taco.build/) for decentralized access control. This gives you way more than simple Token Gated content, but fully programmable, onchain & offchain conditions. Ceramic actually have a tutorial for using TACo https://developers.ceramic.network/docs/composedb/examples/taco-access-control

IPFS and Arweave are both public. If you want true private token gating, consider private ipfs: https://www.pinata.cloud/blog/making-private-nfts/ You can see how that works here: https://www.concealmint.com/
