How are the Rankings performed?

@openrank use Farcaster social graph data and use a linear combination of peer-to-peer actions such as Follows, Recasts, Mentions, Comments to calculate a personalized reputation graph for each user.

SEED TOP USERS ARE IMPORTANTE

Developers can change the algorithm weights and the rankings change real-time based on the updated parameters.

And I think @degentokenbase has changed them

The Global Profile Ranking compute is seeded with a few profiles chosen as a starting point to begin the computation of transitive trust among profiles. 

This seed peer selection is upto the developers.

And as I said before, there is no way for BOTS

Why?

Because, if a set of sybil or spam clusters boost a particular profile (say Alice) and their casts, Alice's ranking will likely not increase because of the low rank of the profiles which are engaging with Alice. 

This is found in @openrank documents

Then... Who is in TOP of the Rankings

Users, creators with Reputation in Farcaster and a lot of Activity

But.. REMEMBER, Quality of Activity is more important than Quantity

It's totally normal to see @ace , @wake , @coopahtroopa.eth , @pichi , @deployer @tocd on top of the rankings

Hi it says ranking drop of you don’t tip at least 5 times in the last 7 days, well something is wrong here because I’ve been tipping at least 30 ppl daily for over 4 weeks and my ranking has reduced daily now for 2.5 of those weeks… ??
