"devs" that rely on AI are cursed. I just searched "how to set cookies in react native" in perplexity and it returns a whole npm package. "No way!" i say and look up how to do it in normal JS and use the standard single line of code. Unfortunately i know too many people that dont question any code that gets generated

perplexity is rather for detailed wiki searchers for me and it's only when i choose academic, and wolfram. its reddit queries are also nice. i wish it had a direct integration with the internet archive, too. the only reliance i can rely in short term is a ChatGPT instance that knows me well. Wish I could set up a cluster at home but it would cost a couple of months of nomadic wonders.

I find perplexity gives better coding responses than gpt4 and claude sonnet. And its free! I do need to make a fully personalized one too. Once i buy a house im going to make my own local server
