Crypto has already achieved "mass adoption". It's an integral part of the global economy, with two established usecases: a) BTC & ETH as alt assets b) Stablecoins + several more niche usecases, more coming Desperately fawning over racist memecoins & trashy celebs is wasteful, focus on improving a) and b) instead

only in the short term meta-layers level can we signal that these "memecoins" as a **genre** in the narrative are prediction markets in the sense that there is a demand among the entropy-maximizers for ease of access into liquidity they'll soon pull. by this definition, every project is memetic. speculative markets as in the case of prediction markets where we are supposed to bet on beliefs rather work better on long-bets. it's just that, as in the OG cast above, people should be able to call shit a shit rather than enveloping them as "merde." we are not talking about David Bowie here. None of these celebrities are as smart as the ideal "celebrity" figures. Does it matter? Yes, we are going to be forced to sharing the same polis and forum for decades to come.
