Question for ethereum experts: Is mainnet a safer store of value than L2s? Or is safety on both primarily a factor of my ability to safeguard my seed phrase? In other words, if I transact primarily on L2s, is there a reason why I might still prefer to store most of my eth on mainnet?

yup. l2s are just experimental from what I can perceive. hold some on 'the' mainnet; and, have some ready on a CEX, too is all i do.

Same. I’m split between cex (coinbase), mainnet and L2s on several different eth addresses
