the problem with BTC only is that it pretty concentrated in terms of who holds it, I can see value in adding more to in to incentivize competition in the space.

Just to be clear, I am by no means a BTC maxi, if anything an ETH maxi (there are still a few.) 

Why not just buy Amazon stock if it's going to be a bunch of VC chains? 

The point of BTC is that it is still truly decentralized. There is not even a foundation. It is autonomous so is less likely to be corrupted.

Definitely a strike against it for crime season. Corruption is the name of the game.
