aren't channels gated for a while now? Means, if you don't have your own channel, a channel is since then more like a discord server than "topic labels". Therefore => post everything on your home feed.

start with an image with an open, permissionless license. No need for AI gen. Sure AI gen could generate something else, sth. weird or sth. spectacular (maybe) or not rly spectacular. But it's a nice image as-is already, isn't it? Yes it's a cat, well. πŸ˜‚
