Wages have gone up 3.2 x in that chart. Houses have gone up 5.5x. So the house is worth more compared to wages than it used to be. I.e good store of value. You would have to compare against every day items like the food. This just shows that houses have grown faster than wages because people are storing money there.

Love it but gotta disagree. More people, less housing per person and weβve commodified housing where people own multiple homes which drives up prices.
