What’s driving persistent inflation?

I’ve read a bit about single family home prices and rents staying high, but beyond that, unclear to me where inflation is showing up

Anecdotally this is true! I asked my vehicle insurance provider why rates had jumped, and they pointed to the cost of automobile parts going up, and general backdrop of supply chain issues lingering from Covid

I guess that’s one area where economic issues in other parts of the world (eg. Japan) show up domestically
