Are you using it yet? I’d love if it had the security properties of Deno. When I first looked a while back, it didn’t. Maybe it does now. (?) Being able to lock down what the runtime can/can’t do re I/O and network would be decidedly empowering.

my experience, the benefit of Bun: - ts/tsx just works (really big IMO) - very fast - top-level await

Top level await has existed in Node.js for a while https://nodejs.org/api/esm.html#top-level-await You can use tsx (the package) to run typescript with top level await and not have to worry about too much config https://github.com/esbuild-kit/tsx
