Deleted CleanShot X. Not being able to set the recording resolution is a deal breaker. Trying out the native Mac screenshot and screen recorder. Any screenshot and recording tools worth looking into?

Wait what? CleanShot is using whatever native recording resolution of the selected area/window/desktop is available, it’s not an upscale/downscale tool, although it can do that too.

What’s the exact issue you’re having?

You can set up precisely to the pixel the selection area to record, including screen format.
