tailscale if you're not using it you're possibly ngmi I started using it simply as a free ngrok alternative with `tailscale funnel localhost:3000` slowly and organically it's taken over a bunch of different tools and services

I went through the pain of setting up wireguard on my opnsense and was thinking I should switch to tail scale, but it somehow seemed even more convoluted. How are you using it for other services, locally hosted and tail scale directly set up on the server? And what does the url look like for the funnel?

Update! Tailscale has saved me from SSL/TLS hell while working on a local project. I can't thank you enough for pushing me to play around with it. Tailscale serve --bg <port>

+1 for tailscale for pure simplicity but if you want/need to avoid having to use it can always opt for wireguard w/ an admin gui like https://github.com/h44z/wg-portal
