(you got to bear this non stop parenting casts from me for a few months) I am finding it hard to soothe the baby to sleep after a feed. He is well fed - but still gets fussy - wanting something more. Holding him on my chest or shoulder and gently rocking him isnโ€™t soothing him like it used to the first couple of weeks. Any tips/techniques that could help me here? Currently trying some white noise sounds, and trying to keep it calm and not too much light. Used a pacifier a couple of times - but hesitating using it frequently.

How old is your little one? The reason I ask is that they go through growth spurts at specific times, which can drastically change how they eat and sleep! Check out โ€˜The Wonder Weeksโ€™ to see if your little one is going through a big milestone.

Wonder weeks is a great resource! Also, the first 3 months are rough. 3 hour cycles of sleep, feed try to put to sleep are tiresome. I never thought I would but ended up paying for a Sleep Coach and it was helpful. There's no silver bullets, but a steady routine seems the best thing to do.
