The scotus ruling is breaking my brain.

How is this guy going to be remotely constrained in a second term when Project 2025 is a blueprint for vastly more presidential power?

Apparently they aren't worried about the possibility of a future far-left president with authoritarian ambitions, and that lack of worry speaks volumes about their motives.

This whole thing is surreal and terrifying. And then what happens after 4 years? He's just going to walk away and hold a fair election?  This is shaping up to be absolutely catastrophic.

That would be true if it was a unanimous ruling. It clearly wasn’t.

The SCOTUS ruling simply upholds decades of legal precedence that was already in place

The only way to constrain a democratically elected leader from acting in his official, constitutionally protected capacity is to not elect him
