i think if people are still talking about @atlas a year from now it'll be bc of the product

if you are building a product
someone made a token for your product without your involvement

unless it is obviously malicious, it's better to be open to it, have fun with it, and experiment on it. because it's one of those unique aspects of crypto, i.e. the permissionless creation of assets. and the subsequent speculative nature of any asset gives a good opportunity to see what this weird social dynamics can do to your product.

plus, the fact that you didn't create it yourself enables you to conduct the wildest experiments possible without any liabilities, and that's really valuable.

both got launched without either team's consent

one is rejected by the team (rightfully so) and turned into pvp
the other is welcomed by the team and may turn into something interesting

i think @jrf deserves lots of overdue credits for being the ACTUAL ai x crypto pioneer in farcaster ecosystem, also crypto space in general i'd say. @atlas was born before ai was cool.

@anoncast is @33bits with a fresh coat of paint
