I appreciate your voice, but in all due respect: Some of us fellow techno optimists disagree with many of your increasingly strident political takes and assumptions. 

Ex: "We believe a Universal Basic Income would turn people into zoo animals to be farmed by the state."

I think it's more not a Tech Optimism, but right wing accelerationism manifesto. If you are searching another acceleration way you could read Inventing the Future:Postcapitalism and a World Without Work by Nick Srnicek and Alex Williams

Agree. all the research does not back up this claim up at all. In fact the theory is it allows people the freedom to focus more on things like tech than development, rather than having to put food on the table.
