Is there a way to save casts in farcaster or what is the best workaround? Should I create my own channel and recast everything I like into that channel?

okay. Answering my own questions because I mistakenly assumed I would get support in this channel. THIS is not a solution. This is me getting stuck!

To save a Cast, 
1. I can use the actions (next to the share icon) 
2. and then search the 200 actions for something to save) 
3. and then add the action "Save2Notion" by @Cast2Save
4. and then Follow "@Cast2Save" and then there is a bug in that frame because I get directed to this: https://app.cast2save.com/frames/actions/notion
5. and then I follow them and then I still get the same frame to follow them

So, I am not smarter. And still haven't saved any casts

I guess I just didn't check all the options and chose to complain before I did...

warpcast allows bookmarks. that doesnt solve your issue?

Do you mean saving your draft casts? Or bookmarking casts for future? I think both can be done, no?
