Could this strategy, of spreading misleadingly the idea that running a hub could bring some kind of reward, be considered an attempt to attack the ongoing growth and stability of Farcaster?

Fair enough. Tbh I never thought it could have been the result of something intentionally bad. I just began to wonder, cause it would be crazy. But I guess it’s really just this belief that everything in web3 results in some kind of profit

Yup. There are so many threads on Twitter about this. It got worse after the raise. “Why’d they raise 150 million with so little users? There has got to be a token, and an airdrop.” In crypto, if you raise, people automatically assume you will do an airdrop.
