Vast majority of said paid accounts should not be accounted for in DAU, as they do not represent unique users of the protocol

They exist merely to astroturf support for $degen, seeking to make the community appear larger than reality reflects

I don't understand why WC and other clients aren't collaborating to put an end to this. The only reason I can think of is that it artificially inflates the DAU metric. It seems like the focus has shifted from achieving quality growth to prioritizing growth at any cost.
