Glad we are talking about it. Im mainly curious to see if we can establishing a minimum score that would qualify someone as a qDAU or not. A few thoughts: 1) Follower counts mean very little to me. I don't believe I actually have 20.8k real people following me right now. So I wouldn't use this.

@cameron 2) I also think replies are the most important action, but not all replies are equal imo. Reply text length might be useful to consider. 3) Quote casts and recasts should hold equal weighting

2 - makes sense. It’s hard to differentiate short, relevant replies (I do things like 😮💨😵💫🫡 a lot bc I like telling mini visual stories but ostensibly a user wouldn’t get credit for my engagement) so open to any thoughts here! 3 - can you say more? I think I agree but maybe for diff reasons

For 2, maybe just put less weight on single word or emoji replies. Don’t know if this makes a big difference. For 3, quotes are the same as recasts to me because it’s hard to know the quality of the comment a user adds when they quote a cast. It could just be an emoji or something totally irrelevant for example.

2 - we'll see! We're gonna maybe open access to a cast database/GUI to let people play around w algo permutations (kaggle but worse lol) 3 - true true i see that. Maybe we reduce value by default, but increase the score if a quote cast genuinely spurs a new discussion (processing complexity is a factor tho @feepfoop)
