Advocating for change is great, recognizing that a novel technology has limitations is reasonable, having a smaller community than you want is definitely frustrating. But penning a "it sucks here, FU, I'm out" exit letter and treating it like its thoughtful commentary is a little silly Geoff.
When I entered the industry during the dot com boom I remember a lot of people like Art. Very smart, versed in technology, capable of articulating scathing critique which were relevant, but only in a window of time. Things change, people build, breakthroughs are achieved, markets improve. That is the constant.
Not saying everyone needs to be walking around wearing unicorn tees promising WAGMI, but acting like a current state is going to persist in perpetuity without question or doubt isn't a very strong argument in a space that changes at the speed of crypto.
Optimism has become a theme recently because hate leaves you grounded in the past and you need hope to change the future. Try to consider this please. 5 replies
