One thing I find exhausting about crypto culture is you have to join a new telegram group or discord for every damn thing. And I mostly don’t bother.

same but I do wonder if there’s a revamped version of RSS that could make it a popular channel again

maybe a better platform or frontend widget for an aggregated RSS feed could increase the appeal..

RSS is great for announcements, even brief and frequent (daily) notes. Almost no projects do that, though. 

I resort to joining discords and turn on notifications for their Announcements channels only.

I’m in the same boat and it’s a disaster. There’s no sensible way to manage all this and the only maniacs doing this are those of us that are insatiably curious

I am in 160 TG groups, and 200 Discord servers plus 4 Matrix channels, and 2 Slack. Also, in all of the FC channels. 

I frequent 3/4 thereof on a daily basis.

Checking for ex IETF's mail lists, they also have a lot. I guess we are just over-curious.

No clue, but a more public discourse default might be good. @dwr.eth is shilling FC channels for this :D
