Thoughts on Brazil after wrapping up a 10 day trip in São Paulo and Florianopolis: - Thoroughly enjoyed my time here and i love that it has a distinct culture that doesn’t feel as influenced by western culture as much as other places i’ve been in LATAM - São Paulo is a world class city with a great food scene. Best restaurants I went to were D.O.M, Barbacoa Itaim and Clandestina (my fav) - Brazilians are very friendly and welcoming but very few people speak English - Not many expats for a huge city like São Paulo - many more expats in places like Buenos Aires or CDMX. Mainly because of the language barrier and São Paulo isn’t as cheap as other places - Florianopolis is beautiful and I hope to come back during the summer season one day - Definitely plan to come back soon and we’ll definitely hit Rio next time

Floripa has some of the best beaches on earth and Sampa is amazing with a bit of the language to chat with people, I miss that country.
