Experimenting with a new travel format: collapsible B+W hard case to transport my bike on a plane or train, rear rack so I can leave the train station on my bike.  🚲✈️🚲🚄🚲

I think there are better bikes from a pure riding perspective (Tern FTW!) but from a packability perspective the Brompton is pretty goated.

I have longer ‘h type’ handlepost, and wider slightly front tilted handlebars, so the overall feel is not bad (though not great either)

Great experiment… been thinking Brompton for that nice nice packability — how do you find it to ride, in spite of the weird shape?

looks cool. how heavy are those b+w hard cases? 

also what crank are you using? was it for longer distance rides?
