I host Friendsgiving on the Friday after Thanksgiving, so Thursday is the day to check off every prep task on my to-do list. 

Woke up early and started baking the shortbread cookies I prepped last night while sipping coffee and listening to the sound of rain.

I freeze them overnight before baking and this ensures that the design stays well defined after baking :)
