there’s a lot shifting in my life right now. emotionally, physically, logistically - it’s been a lot. like wrangling a giant can of worms while making decisions that feel impossibly heavy.

what nobody tells you about cancer is how long its shadow lingers. even when you’ve “recovered,” your body remembers. i’ve cycled through it all - pretending i had it handled, feeling hopeful, falling apart again, discovering more issues. and now i’m just… existing in the reality that maybe i won’t get better, and that’s hard to make peace with in a world not built for people like me.

i don’t share this looking for pity. i share because i’m trying to live with more softness, more honesty - and in case it helps anyone else feel less alone while they figure out how to keep going, too.
