Ugly pics cuz it’s 2am but I made an asian pear compote on an Indian kheer. Today was the first time I ever tried kheer at my friends house, an Indian rice pudding with some grapes. It has a yogurt-y taste. My kitchen has been off limits recently since I’ve been making candles and ive just been itching to cook something. And my two friends that are dating are Indian and Chinese. So I thought why not combine those cultures into one dish. Ingredients are basic: Asian pear, cinnamon, honey (maple syrup better), sugar (brown sugar better), vanilla extract, pinch of salt, and cardamom. Measure to taste and mix in a sauce pan, bring to a boil, then simmer until they turn translucent ish My friends mom made the kheer but you can follow any other recipe you want online or purchase it from a local store. Three tablespoons of kheer into the katori. Then one large tablespoon of the Asian pear compote on top. Bam dessert.
