My prayers were answered! A neighbour invited me to raid her apple trees, same as last year 😈

The apples were mostly fallen and bruised, but this summer I'll take what I can get. 

So I spent alllll day today turning apples into apple butter (added the aronia too to use it up, hence the colour). 

I guess that's around 10 kg apples + 2 kg aronia + 3 kg sugar ➡️ ~8 liters of apple butter 🍏

Going to save small jars for gifts, and the big ones will carry us through winter ☺️

I think I'll cast a recipe too, cause I feel like I've perfected the art of apple butter this year ✨
