sounds like some kind of large audio model should be fine tuned to that task, given that llm won't be able to effectively do that.

I would 100% use a product like this. 
Or “DJ hero” type service for practicing. Maybe it looks more like synesthesia (the piano visualizer) which is also great for learning. 

I have nothing to add in terms of suggesting models, but chiming in that I love this idea
